If Jessica Simpson wasn't willing to do it, Nick found himself another gal
You might remember how, more than a year ago, Nick Lachey (also known as Jessica Simpson's former hubby and former boyband hunk turned solo artist) said that he wouldn't mind doing it (as in, having) in front of the camera. Seeing that, at the time, he was dating MTV hottie Vanessa Minnillo, nothing but cheers of encouragement were heard throughout the world when the announcement was made. Well, seems like we finally got our wish!
You know that thing that celebrities do every once in a while, when their popularity quota is taking a dip? Like, in front of a camera (a phenomenon traditionally referred to as a tape)? Well, it seems that said phenomenon also got to Nick and Vanessa, because a brand new tape is about to be launched on the adult market. A while back, 'Life & Style' Magazine published a bunch of photos of the two love birds, taken while they thought they were away from the prying eyes of the media, in Mexico.
Although the photos covered all the nasty bits with appropriate red dots, the story inside the mag claimed that they were neither fake nor airbrushed to look as if Nick and Vanessa were naked. However, it has just transpired that what we got to see in the pics was nothing but a PG-rated version of what really went down there: apparently, the two engaged in hard-core right there in the jacuzzi, while the paparazzi were documenting their every move (thrust?).
The bottom line is: 'Life & Style' has the pics and plans to make them public. The couple's lawyers are so pissed that they already sent fair notice to all magazines and websites, bringing to their knowledge that, were any of them to publish them, they would instantly be hit with a lawsuit. They are also trying to get the pictures that were already published back from the editors of the mag, either by buying them or by legal means.
Meanwhile, ashamed and embarrassed, Nick and Vanessa have already announced their intention of speaking out on the whole scandal in the upcoming issue of 'OK!'. And that's not all: aside from approaching the whole XXX sensitive topic, the two will also talk about what their love relationship is like, take part in the first photo shoot together as a couple and talk about another set of embarrassing photos, the ones with Vanessa, Lindsay Lohan and the kitchen knives. And they're not even doing it for free: although no sum of money was circulated in the press, word has it that Nick and Vanessa got paid a lot to 'share' their story with the general public.
